Just now listening to the last Elliott Smith album "From a Basement on the Hill" and it's amazing. Right up there with XO and Either/Or. His singing style takes a little bit of getting used to since it's kinda dramatic in a hushed way, but he was such an incredible songwriter... R.I.P. crazy loon.
